Hi there I tryed it but I had a problem as I put the tape around the edges but as it was cut6ing the card moved so did not work that way how did you get your card or what you were useing not to move also is the light stick mat any good thanks

I don't understand about the tape. What does the tape do?
Hi, L Lamb, The tape used here is only to keep paper from shifting while cutting. The cutting mat has lost most of it's "stickiness". This allows machine to cut intricate design while minimizing chance of me ripping it while removing item from mat (happens a lot if my mat is too sticky). Just a trick that seems to work for me. Thanks.
Hi. I dont think I mentioned in the video that I used a heavy weight cardstock. Maybe, 85lb weight. And, I used a slower speed, cutting on the setting for heavy cardstock. Hope this helps.

I use Inkssentials Glossy Accents by Ranger. You can find it at MIchael's, Joann's, Hobby Lobby and Walmart.com
After using my mat. I scrub down with a diaper wipes . Let dry a few minutes and nice & clean, & sticky.
I tried a project similar to these and the paper practically melted into the mat! The card was totally destroyed resulting in a thousand little pieces. Very frustrating. I have the Cricut Explorer Air 2 and selected cardstock, which is what I used. Any suggestions? Thank you
Lisette Vial The mat that you used might have been TOO sticky. Paper products stick to newer mats really well. Too well, should I say.
What helps me is to decrease the "sticky" of my mat by placing something like a tee shirt fabric on the mat several time to allow some of the fibers (fuzzies) from the tee shirt to stick to it. This causes the mat to be a little less sticky. And... I secure edge of paper to mat with tape to keep paper from shifting during cutting. Hope this helps.

I usually make sire i dilute the mixtire with water and adjust tje combo as needed for "stickiness".
Used my Singer Futura sewing machine for the embroidery.

What kind of card stock do you use for the lace like patterns here? I need to try changing the settings of my machines pressure for card stock bc I'm not even able to cut through reflection card stock on some of the included wedding invitation in cricut access. thanks for putting the video together I'm just starting out and all these videos help a lot.

what pen u use to emboss paper?
Rosario Ruiz , Hi Rosario, I didn't use a pen to emboss. I place each Cricut cut of the design back into the cuttlebug die and ran them through the cuttlebug using the "embossing" mat with my sandwich. Hope those helps.
Hello, I know you used the cricut but in mine comes with a penknife and a pen to paint but to make the engraving like a pen or that you used in your cricut to make the relief
Hi Rosario Ruiz, Sorry my answer was not clear. I hope this makes more sense this time. I used the Cricut explore machine's blade (knife ) to cut the design out. Once cut, I remove the Design from the cricut mat, place it into the cuttlebug die, ran this combination through the cuttlebug (manual die cutter by Cricut) using the recommended plates and "embossing mat". This last process embossed the finished edges on this intricate cut. Thanks for your comment.
